About Tintin around the World

Tintin became a worldwide bestseller and has been translated into many languages, regional languages and dialects.
This site is dedicated to all those translations of the 24 comic albums made by Hergé.
You won't find in-depth information about Hergé or the Tintin stories as there are numerous excellent websites that do that already. Here we try to give you detailed information about each translation.


Who's Tintin?
Tintin was created by Georges Remi (May 22, 1907 - March 3, 1983) who is better known as Hergé.. The first albums appeared as early as 1929 and the last (incomplete) album was published in 1986. New translations are still being published.


We need your help
To become as successful as our website the Many languages of Asterix, we need your help.

For each translation we would like to know the publisher, translated titles, year of first print and the name of the translator. We would also welcome coverscans (already 1202 available) and details about the translation. If you have any comments or new information, please contact us.
